Product Overview

The Back End Processor 6.1 (BEP6.1) SideIO Board Assembly in Ultrasound is used in the competitor–Ultrasound, LightSpeed ultra upgrade, AMB MV ACUS XP10 GEN and other medical equipments as applicable. It is comprised of a bracket and PWA assembly. It consists of IO board BEP eSound, IO bulkhead assembly BEP and mounting screws. It is compact and easily portable. The IO assembly is a spare part which is packed individually. It is easily assembled and removed whenever required. The BEP is a computer, designed especially for the use in the Ultrasound scanners made by GE. The Back End Processor receives the digitized Ultrasound data from the CRX board in the Front End. It performs the beam forming, process the Color Flow, Doppler, M-Mode and 3D/4D data calculations. It also performs scan conversion to pixel domain and drives the Ultrasound system’s monitors. A CoC (Certificate of Compliance) stating conformance with Essential to Safety properties for embedded part is included with each shipment. The BEP spare, part is individually packed and comply with the global packaging requirements.

    Return And Exchange

    GE Healthcare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE Healthcare and return the item to GE Healthcare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
