Product Overview

The Collimator Lamp is used as a spare part system which comes under the modality of X-Ray systems. The Collimator lamp voltage is configured by connecting an electrical jumper to J10 (24 VAC) for the Philips lamp or J11 (26 VAC) for the GE type lamp, when a 230 VAC input line is on XT transformer. We can change the collimator lamp voltage according to the requirements. The RF amplifiers are used in these collimators. A collimated beam of light or other electromagnetic radiation has parallel rays, and therefore will spread minimally as it propagates. A perfectly collimated light beam, with no divergence, would not disperse with distance. Reducing the size of the beam by collimation reduces the volume of the patient's tissue that is irradiated and reduces intensity in the periphery of the beam. Peripheral X-Rays is absorbed by the patient's tissues and can generate scattered photons, which travel in many directions and cause film fog, reducing the quality of the X-Ray image.     Return And Exchange

    GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.

    Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
