Features

  • Good dimensional stability
  • High corrosion resistance
  • High fatigue endurance
  • High strength and stiffness properties

Product Overview

The F70B5A2 Screw is made from low carbon steel and is manufactured using high precision techniques which helps it to achieve a good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The high dimensional stability of the screw ensures its perfect fit in the required assembly. The carbon steel material used for the screw has good mechanical properties like high tensile strength, hardness and wear resistance which ensures a long-life span for the screw. The screw is also zinc electroplated to enhance its corrosion resistance. In zinc electroplating a thin coating of zinc metal is electrodeposited onto the surface of the part. This coating forms a physical barrier that prevents rust from reaching the underlying metal surface. The screw is also treated for relief of hydrogen embrittlement. In hydrogen embrittlement the metals become brittle due to the introduction and diffusion of hydrogen into the metal. The screw is also wax coated to provide a driving lubricant for ease in assembly.

  • Additional Features
