Product Overview

The Adjustable Pressure Limiting (APL) Valve is a user-adjustable valve that releases gases to a scavenging system. It is used to control the pressure in the breathing system. The APL is provided in main manifold assembly. It releases anesthetic gases into the Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) and sets a pressure limit for manual ventilation in the breathing circuit by means of a diaphragm. The AGSS removes vented anesthetic gases from anesthesia machine in areas like operating rooms to eliminate the possible long term health hazards for the exposed medical staff. The APL is seated on the seal which is flexible and tensile. The gases flow from the patient to the scavenging system through the APL valve where pressure is regularly fluctuated. This valve is used in many medical systems such as MS CARESCAPE™ Monitor B850, ARC Aespire 7900, ARC Aespire View, MIC Giraffe™ Incubator, MS CIC Pro, ARC iVent 201 etc.,
