  • Cut Off Valve That Prevents Hypoxic Ratio
  • Borosilicate Glass Tubes with Markings
  • MPOS Specification Inlet/Outlet Ports

Product Overview

A Rotameter measures the volumetric flow rate of fluid in a closed tube. It belongs to a class of meters called variable area meters that measure flow rate by allowing the cross-sectional area the fluid travels through to vary, causing a measurable effect. A rotameter/flow meter comes with two inlet ports for medical grade oxygen and nitrogen oxide gases and one outlet ports. A red anodized aluminum float indicates the flow rate on the scale marked over the glass tubes. All ports of this assembly meet the Medium Pressure Oxygen Service (MPOS) specifications. The assembly controls the flow with needle valves and incorporated with cut off valve which shuts of the N2O supply in the event of O2 failure to prevent hypoxic flow ratio. The assembly comes with 6 mounting holes and is designed to withstand high internal pressure up to 100PSIG. This rotameter is compatible with 904E Anesthesia Delivery systems.
