Product Overview

E-PSM (P) Non-invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) Pump is used in the pneumatics of the patient side module. The patient side module and accessories are used for monitoring hemodynamic parameters for patients. The air pump is used for pumping the measuring pressure of the cuff and the intake air filter for preventing dust and other parts from entering the air pump and the valves. The pump is properly grounded to prevent earth leakage, a rubber pin of a pump bottom cover is inserted into a sinking of a ground contact. Connect an external mercury manometer with a pump to the module through the both tubes of the hose. The pump allows up to 200 mmHg pressure (range of 150 to 300 mmHg allowed) according to the manometer. Verify that both pressure values in the prompt field match the manometer reading, if not adjust by turning the ComWheel. The module automatically pumps a pressure of 260 mmHg in the cuff. Wait for several seconds until the pressure stabilizes, then check that the pressure reading does not drop more than 6 mmHg per minute. The hemodynamic parameters comprise NIBP, temperature, impedance respiration and arrhythmia. NIBP is an indirect method for measuring blood pressure. E-PSM(P) module are necessary parts to measure NIBP measurement.
