Product Overview

The Nafion™ insulation tubing is designed to use with Patient Monitoring systems. The moisture exchange tubes are ideal for gas drying and humidification. It uses Nafion® membrane technology to dry or humidify gases. Regardless of the application, the ME Series moisture exchange tubes provide a moisture balance between the gas inside and outside the tube. This process does not result in loss of analytes in the gas or energy. It is mainly used to transfer moisture from the humid air to the surrounding air for drying applications. When the sampling humidity and the ambient humidity are the same, the drying is completed. Because the drying process is a first-order kinetic reaction, equilibrium is quickly reached, usually requiring only 100 to 200 milliseconds. The good performance of the drying tube is ideal for high humidity at room temperature or even for saturated sample gas drying. The sampling humidity can be easily reduced to 10% of the original moisture content using only a short Nafion tube. The GE product is an Innovation and technology which fits well into versatile customer needs. It is manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The part is diligently designed for high performance and reliability. It is securely packaged inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details.
