Product Overview

The Pediatric Sensor is used to take measurements along with GE monitors and the patient spirometry function. The Pedi-lite are used for patients with certain limited tidal volumes. Select the correct sensor type in the patient spirometer menu. Examine the lower tidal volume limit from the monitor manual and module, as the monitor does not detect what type of sensor has been used. The GE patient spirometer tube and gas sampling tube will be used along with the sensor. The connections are provided between patient spirometer tube and the module and another connection between the gas sampling line and the water trap. Check once the connections are tight and firm, to prevent the water flow to the patient, ensure that the sensor is inclined at 45° angle and all the ports of sensors are facing upwards. As the sensor is in an inclined position, the water flow gets increased, thus improves the accuracy of the measurement. The Pedi-lite sensor can be reused, hand washed or machine washed. The material used in Pedi-lite is a PPSU that has high dimensional stability and good electrical insulating properties. The PPSU has superior toughness and very good impact strength.

  • Additional Features

    • The pediatric sensor shows the signs of physical damage
    • Has better resistance than PSU and PEI
