Product Overview

  • The Adapter Assembly comes as a part of the IRIS porthole in an Infrared Incubator. The Infant Incubators provide heat in a controlled manner to neonates who are unable to thermoregulate based on their own physiology. It is installed in the porthole to avoid warm air escaping the Incubator. The inner wall and the standard porthole are removed and the latch is removed by unscrewing the two mounting posts on either side of the porthole frame. Using the existing porthole mounting posts, the iris adapter is mounted to the outside of the hood. The tightening ring snaps into the IRIS frame to tighten the cuff. The frame mounts to an adapter and mates to the ring. The ring turns smoothly with minimal effort. The PVC film is sealed into an approximate 7 inches diameter cylinder and then the elastic material is sewed to the film on both ends in the cuff.

Return And Exchange

GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.

Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
