Product Overview

A Hex Socket Head Cap Screw is a six-sided bolt with a trimmed hex head and a washer face on the bearing surface. A hex head cap screw is made of stainless steel which is a iron based alloy. It contains a minimum of chromium around 10.5%. The presence of chromium provides corrosive resistance to the stainless steel and helps it to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintain its excellent toughness. By considering all of the properties of stainless steel, it is often the chosen material to use for socket head cap screws for this particular application. This screw is being used in many different anesthesia machines in the medical field such as Aespire 7900, Aestiva MRI, Aespire View, Avance CS2, ARC Aestiva 7100, ARC ADU and ARC Aespire View, among others. A screw is a type of fastener, in some ways similar to a bolt , typically made of metal. Screws can be used in any application that requires joining a number of different materials together including plastics, rubber and various metals as well as plywood.     Return And Exchange

    GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.

    Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
